Most often the first decision that has the most long term impact is the choice of productivity tools you with to use for the organization. As a single person entity, the choice of a raspberry pi hardware with Libre office is good enough, even to do up your pitch decks and financials. However, having more than one person, shopping for a good cloud based tool is necessary.

The article will mostly revolve around GSuite and O365 and then a sprinkling of other tools for design and pitchdecks you might find useful

Productivity💪🏼

For most of us, we would likely end up using an offering from Google or Microsoft. Those of us from the legacy enterprise days might remember the Lotus suites fondly (it’s still alive and finally getting the loving it needs after close to two decades of acquisition by IBM)

The main criteria for productivity as the name implies is increased productivity and not a hole in my monitor from sheer frustration

G suite

I think when Google docs first started way back in 2006, it was an exciting time. The ability to simultaneously edit documents at the same time was nothing short of magical (yes I am ignoring the horrendous speeds. This was a time when Nokia was still King of the hill)
