A (free) list of resources for skills to startup

Starting a startup is not easy (I’m still struggling to start lol). Starting up requires skills in different areas. And when most people start they will have huge gaps (mine is in finance). Over the last few years I have found myself repeatedly drawn to the same videos/ youtube channels, sites and books that have helped me better understand the topics from a theoretical and practical sense. Most resources are free (for the books try to check with your local library or this awesome app called Libby)

The business model canvas is definitely one of the timeless tools to help determine (at least in theory) if the business idea is worth pursuing. This pairs well with the value proposition canvas (also by Osterwalder):
